Types of Crab Feasts:

Shoreline Seafood Inc. can supply a FULL menu and everything you would need for your organization to host a fine Maryland traditional crab feast. A minimum of 150 people is required on all weekends and would be billed as a price per person. Our catering team will arrive approximately 2 hours prior to your event starting. We will set up a buffet table with chaffing dishes and all the paper products needed. A basic full menu includes, steamed hard crabs, steamed corn, hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, coleslaw, fresh cut fruit, condiments and eating utensils. Almost all the cooking is performed outside and on site. A full menu can be adjusted to include more items such as pork barbecue, fried chicken, barbecued chicken, baby back ribs, steamed shrimp, green beans, fried fish, a variety of appetizers, salads soups and deserts etc. Your event's menu can be customized to fit your needs, taste and budget. Please keep in mind the more menu items chosen the more expensive your price per person is going to be. Shoreline Seafood does not provide alcohol beverages or soft drinks.

Food service is for 3 hours on an all you can east basis. If a customer desires food service for 4 hours an additional 20 % charge does apply. An accurate head count must be given to Shoreline Seafood one week prior to your event. Armbands will be supplied by Shoreline Seafood to insure an accurate head count.

Please note that a 10% gratuity will be added to all full menu catering jobs.  All gratuities received are greatly appreciated by all of our hard working staff.

Shoreline Seafood is not responsible for the cleaning of the hall or trash removal from the premises. However our representatives will clean and remove the trash we created in our own work area. Further arrangements can be made for clean the hall or location at an extra charge.

Shoreline Seafood can supply “On-site Steaming” of spiced crabs and fresh corn for your event. If this is the option you are considering, please keep in mind there is a minimum usage of 20 bushels of crabs in effect for us to steam on site. Paper goods and condiments are not included with this option.

Because the seafood and farming industries are continuously fluctuating with supply and demand, crab and corn prices can’t be determined at this time. Shoreline Seafood can determine your prices approximately two weeks prior to your event. Please keep in mind Shoreline Seafood will do everything possible to keep prices down but yet not to sacrifice the quality our customers have been accustomed to. Shoreline Seafood will at that time offer your organization the   choice of jumbo males, #1 males (med and large), #2 males (regular male), mixed males or # 3's (females) at bushel prices. Corn will be offered at a price per dozen.  Shoreline Seafood will have ample supply of both crabs and corn on hand.

Your organization will only be charged for the amount of product consumed or cooked once our 20 bushel minimum is met. The Shoreline Seafood representative will only cook extra crabs and corn if needed after consulting with a representative from your group. Please keep in mind an accurate head count is necessary one week prior to your event in order for us to have ample supply of product on premises. A fuel surcharge will be added to all on site steaming jobs.

Your group must supply both electricity and water at your location for such an event no matter which service you choose. Establishing your location and date are the most important items and Shoreline Seafood books dates on a first come first serve basis. A $500.00 deposit is required in order for us to hold your date. Shoreline Seafood does not reserve rain dates and final payment is due upon the completion of your event. Payment is accepted by cash, certified check, credit card, or a pre-approved check.

If your group is not large enough to meet the minimum requirements needed for the above catering services and you wish to have Shoreline Seafood’s products at your event. The third option available would be for us to quote you on a delivery and set up. This allows are customers to save on labor costs but yet not to sacrifice food quality. A customized and itemized menu can be arranged to fit your group’s needs. This option also gives you the flexibility to adjust quantities as you may feel fit. Either way, Shoreline Seafood looks forward to taking care of your catering needs.

Due to F.D.A. Regulations all food must be consumed on premises. Under no circumstances will carry out be permitted.
